Knox College's baseball team thrived in the role of the underdog to win the 2008 Midwest Conference championship Saturday on the Prairie Fire's home field.
Eighth-grader Josh Shragal captured a third place finish in the 100 with a time of 12.28 seconds, along with a ninth place effort in the 200 (25.05). Knoxville 4x100 eighth-grade relay team (Kenny Lee, Josh Shragal, Carsen Vancil and Brett Walker) finished fourth overall with a time of 49.11). David Carlson served as the alternate of the team.

Wendel Hunigan was one of four CSC teachers honored at the L.U.L.A.C. with a retirement party last Friday.
